Agreeing into an Ideal Sociey

80% of the people who lives in your street experience some forms of rape on a daily basis.                                                                                                     - Joseph Olasunkanmi.

Have you ever witnessed people jump into queues in malls, banking halls, bus terminals and so on? This display is a vivid reflection of the natural man's drive to always want to please himself at the expense of others - and I mean at the painful expense of others. That selfish disposition is one that is deeply rooted in our make up as humans and continually expresses itself through our words and actions. The nature then gradually fades away as we recognize and embrace a higher way of life; and it is important to know that as humans we will never attain a higher way of life not until when we shift our entire focus to God who fashioned both the higher and lower life but deliberately kept us in the lower life with the expectation that we will someday discover the limitations and weaknesses of the lower life and in exchange long for the higher life found in him.
Not every seeming progress we make are genuine. Often times when we attain some levels of satisfaction and progress at the expense of others. We get a pass after so much pleading; some rouges get undue fares from the motorists; robbers forcefully get their undue share out of people's income at gun point; parents forces children to study course against their wish in college and so much more. Everything looks progressive really in a way - at least, they all come with a level of satisfaction to the person who had his way. We happen to be in a world where results matters more then the process and that is why majority of the result addicted persons have faulty processes. They have embraced Nicollo Machiavelli's maxim; "the end justifies the means". The truth is not far fetched as it is evident in the opposite.
In our previous post, we stated how a square peg wouldn't fit into a round hole, there will definitely be a hurt somewhere. Are we saying life must be all rossy and processes all smooth? I beg to differ. However, we can not  make progress  " deliberating" hurting others. A rapist is tagged who he is because he has that natural cravings to make "progress"  which everyone has but that he has failed to go through a due process of negotiation and agreement. People steal because they do not want to go through the protocol of trade. Likewise people who recognise the existence of the supreme God, recognise the worthiness of maintaining a good relationship with Him, are not patient enough to follow through the protocol of  an intimate relationship with Him. So they come storming in God's throneroom with the "give me, give me" cliche. If humans are emotional, God is too...we came out of Him.
Let the change begin from you!
Wow! I'm so glad you followed through. You mean so much to me.
